We always try to get enough dancers to join in the dancing along the Front, on the Sunday of the Sidmouth Folk Festival. In fact, many of us are there for much of the Festival, sometimes dancing, but mostly joining in music sessions here there and everywhere.
This year the weather was glorious on the Sunday, and the prom was crowded with all sorts of sides: clog, border, sword, Cotswold and probably some others I didn’t recognise. We were joined by the Squire of Exeter Morris, who learnt his first steps as part of Bathampton Morris.
