The sun came out, the crowds came out, and Morris dancers of all sorts descended on Bradford-on-Avon for the Green Man festival. It seemed like in every corner there were bells, music and dancers catching their breath in whatever shade they could find.
Bathampton Morris danced as part of the opening ceremony and then again at four more spots around the town during the day. Tiring, but a lot of fun. If only the Co-op hadn’t run out of choc-ices!
We even managed a tune or two over lunch in the Three Horseshoes and a quick jog to the ‘Mercy in Action’ secondhand shop on Silver Street, to dance there to celebrate their win for best window display.
